Ryan Gosling is all ready to start a journey out of this earth in the galaxy with a new Star Wars movie. He is teaming up with director Shawn Levy for Star Wars: Starfighter, which will be released in theatres in May 2027.
The production for this movie will start this Fall. It has been more than five years since Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker was released in 2019. This will be the end of the Skywalker saga. This upcoming film will be different from the previous storyline like a fresh start.
At a Star Wars fan event in Japan, it was announced that Ryan Gosling will star in a new movie called Star Wars: Starfighter. The movie will be directed by Shawn Levy. This movie is said to be released in May 2027. The story will be whole brand new with all new characters and completely different from the Skywalker series.
Gosling mentioned that he loved Star Wars since he was a kid and even had Star Wars bedsheets. Ryan said the story is full of adventure and connected with the heart. The movie Director Levy said they want to bring something fresh and fun to the Star Wars world.
Since Disney bought Star Wars in 2012, they have made many new movies and shows like The Mandalorian, Rogue One, and Obi-Wan Kenobi. The next movie, The Mandalorian & Grogu, will come out in May 2026.
