Lady Gaga took the stage at Coachella once again on Friday night for the event’s second weekend, and despite a few technical hiccups, she didn’t miss a beat.
After a brief mic issue, Gaga switched to a handheld microphone for the rest of the song, quickly recovering before getting fitted with a new head mic for the remainder of her performance.
Later, seated at the piano, she addressed the malfunction with humor, saying, “I’m sorry my mic was broken for a second. At least you know I sing live!” The crowd erupted in cheers as she continued, “I guess all we can do is our best, and I’m certainly giving you my best tonight.”
“Abracadabra” is the second single from her latest album Mayhem, which was released last month. The album’s first single, “Disease,” debuted last fall.
In addition to her Coachella performance, Lady Gaga recently announced her Mayhem Ball tour, which is set to begin on July 16 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The tour will stop in cities such as Seattle, New York, Miami, Chicago, and Toronto before heading to Europe in September.
Gaga’s official website also lists upcoming Mayhem performances later this month and in May in cities like Mexico City, Rio de Janeiro, and Singapore.
